Registrations are personally done with Sensei. Please consult our class schedule to see when he is in and plan to register before those classes, or at class ending times. Allow about 20 minutes please. If you need to register another time, just call for an appointment. We will gladly accommodate you. Not ready to join yet? Observe a class. We recommend coming when Sensei is in, and making time to see an entire class. |

I chose Aikido from a recommendation from my husband, yet I learned on my own the benefits and challenges of Aikidoboth mentally and physically. I was also looking for a complementary martial art to my yoga practice and fitness regime. I chose ASD not just for location, but also for the camaraderie of the dojo. I look forward to coming to class. My fellow aikidoists each bring a special element to each training session. Also, it's a great social group and we enjoy each other's company. Aikido has brought some calm to my life, not just with the physical release, but also with the mental training. I apply the Aikido principles to the workplace and relationships. "To control aggression without inflicting injury is the Art of Peace." What a way to live! Cathé Young |

I chose ASD because of the inclusivity of its community. In my close to six years of practice I have always felt that ASD was a place of open learning where people are more than willing to assist you in the progression of your practice. Despite ASD not being geographically close to me it has become a place close to my heart. Johnathon Purcell Scripps Ranch Student |
