Stallion Oaks Ranch in Descanso, CA

Stallion Oaks Ranch is a 243-acre retreat and function center operated by The Unity Center. It's located in Descanso, a small Southern California Community about 45 minutes east of San Diego. It's graced by oak and manzanita trees, hiking trails, and a substantial spread of beautiful wilderness area. The ranch has a large gathering structure (seen above), complete bathroom and shower facilities, a pool, a meditation labyrinth, and yurts where you can set up your sleeping bag. The Aikido retreat is a communal gathering of Aikidoists. We practice, play, and prepare meals together. Training is outdoors in the unspoiled natural environment, and uniforms are unnecessary. Many people bring their own tent, which may be set up almost anywhere on the property. The platform yurts are available for those who don't mind sharing space. Meals are included in the cost of the retreat. We are honored this year to welcome Kayla Feder Sensei as our guest instructor.
